Took Benadryl and put maximum strength Aspercreme on my body. This seemed to help me. I just had an infestation of these tiny monsters. I was bitten every 30 seconds for hours while I was at work.

I looked up some remedies and one that worked fantastic is pouring red wine in cups all over the place. I found hundreds of them dead in all the cups. I have been bitten as Bill F describes…. What is this insect or sun allergy? It goes not sound like the no-see-um nite you describe. I encountered these black dot insects on the top of Whiteface Mountain, NY. I have learned about them on the internet and this site. The bites stung, the next day is when the welts came up, and the itching. All these were very helpful…not itching for about 2 hours after waking. I reapply apple cider vinegar at this time that stings briefly…but no itch after.
